What to expect from our sessions
Our sessions are relaxed and free-flowing - There is no pressure to produce a master piece, just have a go and enjoy yourself!
Session are sometimes based on a still life displayed on a central table with seats and desks set around it or individual drawing practice at your own desk. Some members prefer to bring their own art to work on too.
I (Ed) like to begin each session with a quick chat about any up-and-coming events, or anything members want to talk about.
As the session is running, Ed will take time to walk around the group and sit with each participent and offer some guidence or encrouagement - Art is a huge area and very subjective, I don't push my own views or pressure my style of drawing onto anyone, rather I like to give an example or show "hands on" a technique to each indiviual person which they may find helpful (or not).
At the end of each session (and you'll be really suprised at how fast time goes!) we all have a chance to view eachothers works and give some feedback - its not a competition!
After a quick tidy up and packing away of materials we have a quick chat about the next session
